Little Boy Blue: (sleepy) Gee, Ms. Peepersley, I looked every place I could think of. I looked all over the farm, and up on the hill. I even went down into the town to look, but the flashlight died, and I was hungry, and I went to the pub and had ice cream, and then I got really sleepy...
Bonita: Blooey! What about the sheep? Ugh! Why did I hire you?
Little Boy Blue: Because my Grandpa is your (struggles with the big words) “Principal Investor?” Bonita: Oh Blooey, you drive me crazy! Fine, I’ll go find them myself!
Excerpt #2: Bo Peep meets a familiar egg-shaped character from another nursery rhyme.
(Bonita arrives at the next farm. The mailbox reads, “H. Dumbert.” Humbert Dumbert is sitting on a low stone wall. He is a large egg wearing clothes, with scars of cracks up and down his body.)
Bonita: Hello Mr. Dumbert, I’m looking for five missing sheep. Did you see them come this way?
Mr. D: No, I haven’t seen any sheep for days now.
Bonita: Well if you see them, would you tell them to come straight home?
Mr. D: Will do, Ms. Peepersley. Care to buy a carton of my homemade egg salad? Made fresh this morning. I make my own mayonnaise, none of that stuff from a jar. Don't like jars. They fall on the floor and break, and then...
